After several litigations barring its implementation, on Thursday 28th July 2023, the court of appeal lifted the conservatory orders suspending the implementation of the Finance Act 2023. The Finance Act 2023 is now in operation pending a hearing and full determination of the appeal. We present a summary of the key changes in taxation and highlight the economic overview as well as the effective dates of the amendments under the new Act.
